proper travel agent and bank to transfer funds?

Can someone refer a proper travel agent for a one way ticket to India from Atlanta, GA to Ahmedabad, India. Air India shows 855$. Can I get a better deal? I need to leave within two weeks.
Also, which bank is best for transferring funds from a U.S. bank to Indian bank. I at present have a account with HSBC in U.S and they have a NRI branch, but opening it in U.S will take some 4-5 weeks? Wire transfer like Western Union Transfer seems expensive. Can someone please advise if there are other methods?
