What’s a smart way to suck to your bf’s parents when meeting for the 1st time?

They are very religious (Catholics) and I was raised in a non religious family. I have my own faith, but I don’t practice a religion. I’d hate for there to be tension bc of that. What are some suggestions you can give in making a great first impression ?
