Should I buy a foreign or USA vehicle to get the most bang for my bucks?

I need cost effective and afforable transportation for a family of three. I am not opposed to buying from an owner and I want something that will help with rising gas prices and be fun to drive around town. I have only one kid so I don’t need a hugh vehicle. What is a great buy and where for me…do I go for a foreign or USA car?

What happens to a student credit card when you graduate?

I am a rising senior in college and am thinking about getting a credit card. When I graduate next year, what would happen with that card? Would I be able to keep using it like normal? Would I trade it in for another “non-student” version? Would they close the account and make me apply for a new card?

Any experience with this?

Access to a database of Mergers and Acquisitions such as Thomsons Financial?

I would like to have access to know details such as:

- Parts involved (country, no of employees, capital, industry, year of foundation)
- Nature of the deal (Merger, Acquisition, Joint venture)
- Evolution of Sales, Stock price or assets
- If the status of the Deal has changed over time (Buyout, Buyin)
- Other financials: cash flow, debt

I know I am asking a lot but, There may be someone from a research institution who can share with me some details or a dataset (I can explain further details)

How likely is it that I became pregnant after 1st period?

I had my first period after the birth of my last baby (8 months).
Hubby and I were unprotected 9 days after the start of my period. Is this falling into a fertile time? Could I get pregnant at this time?How can I tell when my fertile time is if I have not had regular periods for so long?

Congress has put caps on pay and bonuses for executives?

at banks and other financial institutions because of the “dire circumstances” of the economy. Why haven’t we seen any members of Congress or the Senate suggest a reduction in Congressional pay? They make about $160,000 a year, work 3½ to 4 days a week, take vacations at least 8 weeks out of the year (another one next week), and were instrumental in causing the problems we now face. I say cut their pay - what say you?

what will happen to my loan/debt if the bank goes under?
