I am having Citibank Cards since 1992. Initially, it was Mastercard, raised gradually to VISA Gold. But other banks are wooing me with carrots. I doubt their intention as in newspaper, I often read about their misdeeds.
My payment record is impeccable, and presently I do not having may trouble with Citibank, apart from the fact that they are difficult to be contacted in hours of need.

I got a secured Mastercard back a few months ago from Orchard Bank. It requires you to make a deposit and whatever your deposit is, that is your credit limit. It also says that you are eligible for credit increase. How long does it usually take to get a credit increase? I hardly use it, but when I do, I pay off whatever I use. Does anyone know?

My minimum payment is $20 dollars a month, my remaining balance is about $300. I pay $80 a month instead of just the $20 and my balance still seems like it’s not going down… I know it’s decreasing, but extreamly slowly, definatly not the amounts that I’m putting in to it. I don’t know anything about percentages or rates or whatever… Why am I having such a hard time paying this card off?!?

i received a rebate from an item i purchased on black friday, but instead of a check, i recieved a debit mastercard for 60 dollars. I would like to redeem it for cash instead of having the card. one way i know i can do is buy something with the card and return it for cash.

is there an easier way to redeem the cash? like go to the bank and get a cash advance from it?

I am doing a (made up) business plan for a marketing class and i wanted to start a credit card company like; visa, mastercard or how the have the baby phat card. How would i go about doing that? I dont even know where to start, start-up cost, sponsors marketers advertisers, employees help me please. All suggestions welcome.

I have a secured card as well as another mastercard I didnt activate yet. But I applied for it and agency sactioned it. Whats the way of closing it with out affecting my credit history?

Should I integrate directly with Visa and Mastercard? Is this expensive? Or should I just use PayPal? Will people get annoyed and leave if they have to go through PayPal to purchase an item?

My parents bought some stuff from sears about a month ago. The cashier told them that if they applied for the Sears Gold Mastercard they would get a discount, so they did apply for it. They have not received a bill for the stuff that they bought and they also have not activated their mastercard. Do my parents need to activate the card first so they can be able to receive the bill or should they call to see what is wrong.

I have a Chinese friend who is a gold farmer (sells virtual currency for real currency). He is a Chinese national living in Harbin China and does not plan to travel to the United States. How can he get a credit card like Visa or Mastercard (even prepaid) without travelling to the United States or having a US Address? Is there a way?
Yes, China has its own credit cards, but they do not perform transactions with US businesses. I am looking for a way for him to make a US credit card.

I have an Amex and a Visa. I want to close them to get two 2 cards with better rewards. I have had the Amex for about 5 -6 months and the visa for a year. What do you think?
Also Does any one know how often Amex and Citi mastercard evaluate and raise your credit limit?
