Hey guy’s I am new to the investment process with not that much finance? How do I get started?

Friday, October 9th, 2009

I am a newly licienced real estate agent and I was wondering how do I get started in investing in property with no money and minor credit history. I just got a credit card for the first time with my bank not well over a year ago. My income is very low at the moment the rental business has been very slow. Please if anyone was in this same situation let me know how you handled it. Thanks

Goldman Sachs $739,521

UBS AG $419,550

Lehman Brothers $391,774

Citigroup Inc $492,548

Citigroup Inc $287,801

Morgan Stanley $249,377

Wachovia Corp $147,456

Bear Stearns $108,000

JPMorgan Chase & Co $206,392

*This sort of thing makes me leery of investing, ya never know what kind of evil is being done with your money.

What is Private Money in relation to real estate?

Friday, September 18th, 2009

I am looking for information about investing in real estate with private money. I have heard the term and have seen a definition of it that says it is money that is loaned by a private organization, and not a formal one like a bank. Still seems a bit vague to me. Any clarification would be appreciated.

Can i sue my investment broker for lying to me?

Saturday, September 12th, 2009

I invested my $20,000 to a Senior Loan Fund C when I was advised to switch from CD to this loan. I told the bank broker that I do not want my $20,000 be decreased at all no matter what. 2 months later it decreased by $200. I told her that I want out but she kept on saying to stay for another 2 months and it will grow. But later on it decreased by $900. I was so mad, i took it out with penalty charge. I repeatedly told her that in the very beginning I do not want it to go down not a single penny because that $20,000 is intended for a good cause. She told me that it will never go down. Now I am short of $900. Had I stayed with CD I would have earned about $200 of interest already. Can I sue her for lying to me?

Why is the Bush family’s patriotism never at issue?

Wednesday, August 26th, 2009

When you consider how invested it is in foreign regimes and assets (particularly Saudi Arabia, the country where most 9/11 terrorists came from), how can you not be reminded of Mr Fujimori (who cleaned the bank in Peru then fled to Japan)? How come those who try to raise doubts about Obama’s “connections” overseas have never questioned the Bushes? Is it Race? Ethnicity? Partisanship?
Arlene, he IS the president! YOU, my dear, are deep in your double standard.

I would like some recommendations on where to invest my money?

Tuesday, August 25th, 2009

I know nothing of finance and economy, and I would like to know where to “invest” or place my savings/money. I had it before at the bank (normal checking account), with very small rates, and now I placed it in a stock “risk free” but with the with elections and the predictions of a recession, i have the impression it might not be free at all. So if anyone can recommend what to do with my money (short, medium, and long term) I would greatly appreciate it.
I’m 25 years old and married (no kids yet, hopefully one next year)

I live in Mexico (don’t know if there are big differences in investment between USA and Mexico)

I would like to have:
short term / medium term for the construction of my house, about to start in 6 months

long term for kids education and for future needs

How can I esablish a more acurate loan value for my collector car?

Thursday, August 20th, 2009

What I am looking for is similar to how a bank would finance you 30K for a 1960’s car that the “book” says is worth nothing. Granted my car is not that old but it has so much invested in it that surely there must be a way for me to establish a credible loan value based on these things.
