I am 12 years old.I want to open up a savings account for college. I also want to open up a savings account for the end of the year so that i can buy presents for people for Christmas. Lastly I would like to open up a savings account for retirement.I would like to open these accounts at washington mutual bank. I understand that I would need parental advisory.

It will be your parent’s account, because when you are that young I do not think you can even co-sign it with your parents.

I was 16 when I open my first checking account, and the person told me that I was to young.
You have a bright future ahead of you, if your already thinking about retirement.

simple you will need an adult — a picture id and your ss number plus the initial deposit — take all of these to the nearest washington mutual bank and go for it!!!
