can i use paypal if i only add a credit card and not a bank account?

i have set up an account on ebay and pay pal. i have added a credit card on pay pal but it says that my balance is 0. i was wondering if i can buy things on ebay without adding all my bank details and only the credit card

   Yes, i only list a credit card. There is no way that I am going to provide details on bank accounts on ebay/paypal. Way too risky in my eyes.
